Portals, alongside every phase

Client portal software for architects

Your client signs in to follow the design, download what you have issued and answer your questions. Their decisions on milestones are recorded there too.

The Client Portal sign-in page, where the client signs in with their email and password to review deliverables, give requested input and approve milestones.

What it does

What Client Portal does

One client login for every project

You send a portal invite by email and the client sets a password. One email has one portal account for every project they are on, and they switch projects from the "Project" list.

Show the project timeline and milestone status

"Project timeline" lists each milestone with its code, name and status: Not Started, In Progress, In Review, Awaiting Approval, Completed or Skipped.

Share design deliverables with the client

Under "Your deliverables", each set you issue shows its name, version and milestone, and the client opens each file to save it.

Collect client answers and milestone approvals

Your questions appear under "Action needed" for the client to answer or acknowledge. When a milestone needs a decision, they choose "Approved", "Approved as Noted" or "Revise & Resubmit", with notes when they do not fully approve.

Share 3D models, meetings and minutes

Models you share open in a viewer from "3D Models". "Meetings" shows each scheduled meeting's date, place or join link and what to bring, and its minutes once they are published.

Track overdue client inputs

Client Inputs lists what the firm still needs from the client and marks a request past its due date "Overdue". Staff can record an answer the client gave by phone or email, and it is logged on Design Decisions.

Client Portal on screen

Real screens from the sample firm every new ARK workspace starts with.

Who uses it on the project

Your firm
Invites the client's contacts, sees each client's portal status, tracks open requests on Client Inputs and records answers given by phone or email. Staff who open a portal see a firm preview with the client's forms hidden.
Client
Signs in to see the timeline, deliverables, shared models and meetings, answers questions and records milestone decisions. Invoices are not shown here; each one arrives by email with its own link to pay.

How it fits

  • Before: Design management. The deliverables, questions, models and meetings the client sees come from the design phase.
  • All features in the order a project runs.

What it costs

Included with every plan, and contractors, consultants and clients never need a paid seat.
