Invoice phase fees, time and expenses
Pick the project, client and services period, then work through "Architectural Services", "Consultants", "Expenses & Additional Items", "Layout" and "Preview & send". The services period starts the day after the last issued invoice's period, so a new invoice never starts inside months already billed.
Email invoices with an online pay link
Press "Issue & send" and the client gets the invoice by email with a pay link, through Stripe or QuickBooks Payments as you choose. Payments lists everything received, with its date, invoice, project, amount and method.
Track accounts receivable by age
Accounts Receivable groups what clients still owe on issued invoices into "Current", "1-30", "31-60", "61-90" and "90+", so you can see which invoices need a follow-up. The Finance sidebar keeps live Unbilled, Open invoices and Past due figures.
Project fee budget and forecast at completion
Fee & Budget sets each phase's net fee against the fee used so far, with what is invoiced and what is still unbilled. It forecasts the fee used at completion from each phase's percent complete and flags proposed fee changes as "pending — fee at risk".
Bill rates by role and contract rate lists
Give each role a bill rate from a start date; a person's bill rate is the rate of the role they hold that day. Contract rate lists hold the other schedules the firm bills under, such as a government or city rate schedule, for a project.
Profit, realization and revenue forecast reports
See each project's profit month by month, realization (what was billed against the value of the time logged), and the money still to bill spread over the months left in each phase, with a weighted pipeline of sent proposals. Utilization, Profit Forecast, Revenue, Won't bill and the Consultant Report sit alongside.
QuickBooks Online integration
Once an Owner or Billing admin connects QuickBooks, ARK sends issued invoices and new clients to it and pulls payments back every hour. Item mapping decides which QuickBooks products and services the invoice lines use.
