Procore integration for architects

When the general contractor runs the job in Procore, you can still review in ARK. Link your ARK project to the GC's Procore project, and their RFIs and submittals arrive in ARK with their files.

What connects

  • Your firm's Procore account, connected once by an administrator who manages Integrations, from a sign-in verified with two-factor.
  • Then each ARK project is linked to the matching Procore company and project under "Link projects".

What comes into ARK from Procore

  • RFIs and submittals on each linked project, with their files. New ones arrive as ARK records, and their number, title, question or description and spec section stay current.
  • ARK checks again whenever Procore reports a change, and every ten minutes in any case.
  • Submittal package names show on each submittal in the package.
  • An answer given in Procore fills an RFI's answer in ARK when ARK has none; it never replaces yours.
  • A revised submittal in Procore becomes its next revision in ARK, and a revised RFI arrives as a new RFI.
  • When the GC closes an RFI or a submittal in Procore, it closes in ARK.

What ARK sends back to Procore, and only this

  • The answer you post on a linked RFI, as its official reply, with the files on the RFI, and the comments you add to its discussion.
  • Your review of a linked submittal (Approved, Approved as noted, Revise & resubmit or Rejected) with your notes and the stamped review PDF, as your response on the approver line already in Procore's workflow. Procore tells the GC as it would for any approver.
  • If a send fails, "Send answer to Procore" or "Send review to Procore" tries again.

What ARK never changes in Procore

  • Status, ball-in-court, due dates, distribution and the approver list stay the GC's. ARK never adds or removes an approver.
  • Closing an RFI or a submittal in ARK sends nothing to Procore.
  • The sample project every firm starts with is never linked or sent to Procore.

Not part of the connection yet

  • Other Procore tools, such as drawings, change events, daily logs and meetings, are not read.
  • Files attached to a whole submittal package, rather than to a submittal, are not copied.
  • People and companies matched between Procore and ARK are kept for reference; they do not assign work in ARK yet.
